Metafy's goal is to foster an environment that is fun, safe, and conducive to growth for all members of our community. Every user, from gamers to Partners, shares in the responsibility of upholding that standard. This Code of Conduct applies to all activity on Metafy, including Partner posts, comments, direct messages, and reviews. It also applies to Partners' public conduct outside of Metafy, as described in Section 8. Connected Discord servers are managed independently by their Partners and are subject to their own rules.

This Code of Conduct sets forth Additional Terms subject to, and supplementing, the Metafy Terms of Service, Metafy Privacy Policy, and Metafy Partner Terms.

1. Inclusive and Respectful Conduct

Users must not engage in behavior that is racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise hateful toward individuals or groups based on race, religion, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, political stance, skill level, or any other characteristic. Hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, content that promotes, trivializes, or jokes about sexual violence, and the unauthorized sharing of another person's personal information are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.

2. Sportsmanship and Community Standards

Users are expected to conduct themselves with integrity and respect at all times. Behavior that negatively impacts the experience of other community members, including harassment, intimidation, or sustained hostility, will not be tolerated.

3. Appropriate Content

All content shared on Metafy must be appropriate for users of all ages. Nudity, graphic violence, gore, pornography, and any material otherwise unfit for a general audience are expressly prohibited.

4. Accurate and Honest Communication

Users must not post misinformation, clickbait, or sensationalist content, impersonate other users or public figures, or submit duplicate or low-effort content. Users must not plagiarize or misrepresent the origin of any content shared through the Service. All content published on Metafy must be the user's own original work or content for which the user has obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions. Metafy reserves the right to remove content that does not meet community standards at moderator discretion.

5. Privacy and Account Security

Users must not share personally identifiable information about themselves or others. All account credentials and passwords must be kept confidential.

6. Acceptable Use

Metafy's services are intended to help users develop their skills, grow their audience, and build a business around gaming. Solicitation, stalking, and similar conduct are expressly prohibited. Self-promotion is permitted provided it does not involve affiliate links, URL shorteners, cryptocurrency promotion, job listings, or requests for free goods or services. The use of alternate accounts to artificially inflate engagement metrics is prohibited.

7. Platform Integrity

Users must not share, facilitate, or promote piracy, hacking, cheating, or the circumvention of any platform's terms of service. Users must not interfere with or disrupt Metafy's services, servers, or networks, or access Metafy through any means other than the interface provided, including through automated systems, scrapers, spiders, robots, or offline readers. Violations of this section will result in immediate and permanent account termination.

8. Off-Platform Conduct

Partners represent the Metafy community to students and the public. Partners' public conduct outside of Metafy, including on social media, streams, Discord servers, and other online communities, may be considered when it would violate Sections 1 through 3 if it occurred on Metafy, or when it could harm the safety of the Metafy community or Metafy's reputation. Metafy may take action under Section 10 based on such conduct, regardless of where it occurs.

9. Reporting Violations

Users who observe conduct that violates this Code of Conduct or otherwise negatively impacts the community are encouraged to report it to [email protected]. Disputes regarding content removal or account actions should be directed to Metafy's Discord server. Any attempt to circumvent a moderation decision will result in additional disciplinary action.
