Overview
Newer PlayStations have built-in screen recording functionality, while the older models require additional hardware or workarounds for saving video clips of your gameplay. The recording process is consistent from the PS4 to the PS5, with some minor differences, and you can use either native recording or Twitch streaming (which is not recommended) to capture your gameplay.
PS5
PlayStation 5’s Create controller button allows you to easily start recording or save a capture of your most recent gameplay. You can then transfer those recordings to your computer via USB drive for editing and uploading to Metafy. Alternately, you can use Create to stream to Twitch or upload videos to YouTube.
